Bacon Bagels – Breakfast Recipe

  • Almond flour 75 g
  • Xanthan gum one teaspoon
  • Big egg one piece.
  • Mozzarella (grated) 150 g
  • Cream cheese two teaspoon
  • Butter (melted) 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame to taste
  • Pesto 2 teaspoon
  • Cream cheese two teaspoon
  • Arugula 100 g
  • Toasted bacon slices six pieces.

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour and xanthan gum.
  3. Add the egg and mix well.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat or in the microwave, melt the Mozzarella and cream cheese together.
  5. Add the melted cheese to the almond flour bowl and knead until all the ingredients are mixed.
  6. The Mozzarella will lump a little inside, but this is normal. If the mixture becomes too hard, put in the microwave for 10-20 seconds and mix again.
  7. Divide your mixture into three pieces and make round bagels out of them.
  8. Put on a baking tray.
  9. Melt the butter and grease the bagels on top.
  10. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  11. You can sprinkle with dried ground garlic if you want.
  12. Bake in the oven and bake for about 18 minutes the mixture on top will turn golden brown.
  13. Remove from the oven and let cool. If you like crispy bagels, then you can cut them along and keep them in the oven for a while.
