Prune Relief – Smoothie Recipe

Making equipment:-
  • Smoothie Maker or Blender


  • Two handfuls of kale
  • One banana
  • One pear
  • Three dried prunes (pitted)
  • 250ml water
  • Ice cubes

  1. Place all the ingredients in the blender.
  2. You may want to blend for a bit longer than the 30 seconds if the prunes haven’t quite got to a smooth enough consistency.

  • Prunes are the most natural laxative you can get. If you struggle with constipation, then the combination of the plums with the soluble fibre of the apples and pears will have you relieved soon enough. Prunes are also a brilliant source of beta-carotene and vitamin K.
